Hi, I’m Carmen Maples — a proud Memphis native now living in Nebraska, and the creator of The Maples Corner.

The Maples Corner began as a passion project after receiving heartfelt reviews from our first children’s book, Gigi’s Little Dreamer. That experience lit a spark which led us to creating more. 

I’ve always had a deep love for reading, and when I became a mom, it became even more important for me to share that joy with my daughter, Chloe. She’s not only my inspiration — she’s the motivation behind every story we create.

What started as a tribute to Chloe and her grandmother has grown into something more. As Chloe grows and her interests change, so do the stories we tell. Each book reflects a little piece of our journey together.
